Sheila L. Jackson was born in Shreveport, Louisiana where she still resides with her husband and two daughters. She graduated from Booker T. Washington H.S in 1984. Sheila is a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from ULM of Monroe, La and an Associate of Science degree from Southern University, Shreveport, La.


 She has penned many articles, such as: Only the Strong Survive, Count it all Joy, and Suffering in Silence, which appeared in Dream Magazine. She also wrote: Voting Booths, allows you to speak now or forever hold your peace (during the 2009 presidential election) and The Effects of Bullying in our school system for the Shreveport Times. Mrs. Jackson is an anointed speaker, teacher, and writer that utilize her gifts to carry the Word of God to those in need of spiritual soul food.

Sheila L. Jackson has appeared on KTBS-TV, Comcast Cable Station, and KOKA with Barbara Norton (State Representative) & Curtis Wright, 1340 Super-Talk with Tom Pace, KMJJ, and From Bondage to Freedom radio/studio broadcasts. Along with her media and radio appearances/interviews, she has also appeared in The Forum, SB Magazine, Dream Magazine, and The Shreveport Times. Mrs. Jackson has had countless book Signings and speaking engagements.

She recently appeared on Seeing Growth.365 (Black Women Making a Difference), All the Buzz Book Reviews, The Christian Authors Show, and KOKA (Open Mic) with Sharon Flournoy.
